Look no further if you love a good Fall wreath for your front door! This easy DIY Fall wreath was a very spontaneous project for me! I had Fall foliage flowers that I was not using! Therefore, I thought why not make a cute wreath for my front door!
If you are moving away from the Fall decorations to Christmas, you could totally make this with evergreens and other beautiful Winter foliage!
To see how I made this Fall wreath, just keep reading!
What You Need
- Foliage – I got mine at Hobby Lobby, but I love these from Amazon!
- Wreath ring
- Scissors/Wire cutters
- Small zip ties or another way to secure to frame
What To Do
1 | Collect Your Supplies
Grab everything that you will need to create your Fall wreath. Part of my foliage was tied into a bouquet, so I took that apart to see what I was working with.
2 | Place Your Foliage Where You Like
Next, I like to visualize what the wreath will look like before I actually start putting it onto the frame.
Placing the foliage where I think it will look good was so helpful, and really made the process of putting the wreath together much quicker. As I had an idea of where I wanted things to go!
3 | Secure To The Frame
As you can see, the back of the wreath ring is a little chaotic!
I used the wire in the stems of some of the foliage to secure it to the ring. However, some were easier than others so that is where the zip ties come in!
Zip ties are just what I happened to have on hand at home, but use any method you prefer to secure your foliage to your frame!
4 | Cut Off Excess
Cut off the excess zip ties and wires, so that you cannot see them from the front of the wreath!
The wires were giving me a bit of trouble to cut, so the wire cutters came in very handy!
Easy DIY Fall Wreath
Voila! You have a beautiful Fall wreath for your front door! Or wherever you would like to put it!
I hope you enjoyed this DIY! It was a fun project to do, and now my front door looks a little prettier! I love seeing the wreath every time I walk up to the door!
It is the small things right?!
Until next time!
