Do you have a ring at home that could use some tender love and care? I know my wedding ring can get pretty nasty when I do not clean it for a while. When I want to restore that sparkle, I just use a simple at-home remedy to clean my ring. How to clean your ring at home is so easy! You just use everyday household items that you may very likely already have at home!

What You Need
- Water
- Dish Soap
- Glass Cleaner
- Microwave Safe Bowl
- Small Makeup Brush
What To Do
First, you will need to fill a microwave-safe bowl with water. I like to use a small bowl and fill it to where the ring will be completely submerged.
Next up is adding the dish soap to the water. I do not really measure this, I usually just put enough Dawn soap to make the water blue. But, it is about a teaspoon of soap.
Spray a few spritzes of glass cleaner into the bowl. I did it four times.
Now, microwave the bowl for 2 minutes.
Be careful taking out the bowl, it will be very hot!
Time to put the rings into the bowl and let them sit for 15 minutes or more! The longer they sit, the easier it is to get the grime off.
Yay! It is time to take the rings out! I like to take a small makeup brush and give the ring a good scrub. This helps to get into all the grooves. Then I run the ring underwater to get all of the grime off.
And there you have it, a sparkly elegant ring!
