Now I’ll get right into how to make this super easy exfoliating sugar scrub DIY!
What You Need
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of coconut oil
- 20 drops of your favorite essential oil
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract (optional)
- Jar or sealed container to put the product in

Get all of your ingredients & measure
I found it super helpful to already have all of the ingredients that I needed out and measured, so that creating the scrub would be so much easier!
Combine your ingredients together
Next, pour the sugar into your container of choice. (The jar I used was a little small, so I will probably mix the ingredients in a bowl and then transfer it to the jar next time)
Pour the coconut oil into the container and mix the oil and the sugar together.
Now it’s time to add the essential oil of your choice! I love this part because it creates the best scent that encompasses your whole sugar scrub DIY! I used orange essential oil and placed 20 drops into the mixture.
If you would like to add some vanilla extract to your mixture definitely go for it! I don’t know if it would work with all essential oils. However, it made my easy exfoliating sugar scrub DIY smell like an orange creamsicle! So good! I love it!
Final steps
Make sure all of your ingredients are mixed together well in your container! Voila! You have created your very own easy exfoliating sugar scrub DIY!
